Built upon a fair second placed effort with a return to to this C&D (good to firm) a fortnight ago, justifying favouritism and downing Tigerfish by almost 3L; 5lb higher here but sound claims once again.
Despite being well handicapped on his best form he is hard to fancy at present. Returns from a four-month break and probably best watched once again.
Hasn't won since 2014 and can be a bit in-and-out. Would need to be very much on a going day to trouble some of these and place claims at best.
Not had many chances and hasn't been with this yard long. Could be some improvement to come and market check is needed here.
Has failed to make an impact on any of his five starts so far. Beaten a long way at Ffos Las last time but the ground was horrid that day and so can be excused. Yard go well here but hard to fancy all the same.
Finally off the mark at the twelfth attempt at Chelmsford (1m2f, AW) last week. Shapes like this further trip will suit and very much a player once again if transferring that form back onto turf.
Her two wins have come over 1m off much higher marks than this but she has only had three starts so far this year and they have all been poor. Best watched.
Not come close to troubling the judge on any of her starts so far. Goes up in trip but needs much more to be involved. Out the weights.
Well held on all three starts so far. All those runs came within a short three week period last December. moves into handicaps off a very low mark and actually has a nice pedigree. Market check is very much needed despite racing from out the weights
Beaten a long way on all five starts and has not raced now for nearly 500 days. Clearly had problems and best watched unless market screams her name on first start for new yard. Out the weights.
Still a maiden after 11 starts but has one or two pieces of form which would make her interesting off this mark. Place claims at least on a going day.
Slipping down the weights and still without a win in 13 starts. Visor goes on first time but needs to do much more to be involved.
Best effort in handicaps came here over C&D when third last month. Disappointing up in trip last time and needs to bounce back now.
Forecasts
Kirkland Forever (11/8), Grasmere (4/1), French Kiss (6/1), Queen Adelaide (8/1), Buxlow Belle (8/1), Pollyissimo (12/1), Time To Perfection (12/1), London Grammar (40/1), Fireguard (40/1), Millie May (66/1), Victor's Bet (66/1), Robert The Painter (66/1), Kitsune (66/1)
A weak race to finish with and what looks like a good opportunity for KIRKLAND FOREVER to follow-up his recent C&D success. Pollyissimo and French Kiss are both capable of showing some improved form and could play a part. If there is a lurker in here then it is Fireguard who has a nice pedigree but has clearly had some issues along the way. Any market support would be significant.
- Kirkland Forever
- Fireguard
