Back to winning ways when scoring narrowly over C&D last month. Up only 1lb and should be on the premises again.
Two wins from six starts on the AW, but failed to improve for first-time cheekpieces at Wolverhampton on his latest start. No headgear this time, but 4lb drop in the weights offers some encouragement.
Three runs in maiden/novice company, two of them on AW surfaces. Handicap debut in first-time cheekpieces so very interesting given excellent form of his stable.
Battle-hardened campaigner who has not been able to get his head in front for some time. Only 2lb lower than when well held at Wolverhampton recently.
Holding his form well for one of his age and latest turf efforts have been solid. Not quite so effective on the AW and may find one or two of these rivals having his measure.
Maiden after 11 races and did not look too enthusiastic when runner-up in a Leicester seller last time. Plenty to prove back on the AW.
Only minor improvement since switched to handicap company and was behind Coverham over C&D last time. Has gone down 2lb, but has a bit to find.
May have found 1m beyond him at this venue last time, having previously run well over 7f. Handicap mark has remained untouched, but this is only his seventh races and he could find improvement.
Winner over C&D in February and has generally run with credit off higher marks since that success. Returns from a break with plenty to do off his current rating.
Good effort to chase home Coverham over C&D last month and is weighted to turn the tables. Clear form chance, but wide draw makes life tough.
Scored over this trip at Lingfield three starts ago, but the handicapper took his revenge. Has been burdened with the outside stall and will do well to win from there.
Brighton winner in May, but recent outings have been underwhelming. Needs to get back on track if he is to make his presence felt.
Scored at Newcastle in July, but has been out of the frame in two subsequent races on turf. Return to the AW should help, but he looks on a high enough mark.
Without a win after nine races, four of them on the AW. Returned from a spell on the sidelines when fifth of 12 over 1m at this track last time and should be sharper for the outing.
Forecasts
Enthaar (11/4), Coverham (11/4), Reshaan (7/1), The Lamplighter (17/2), Crystal Casque (11/1), Frank's Legacy (12/1), Waqt (16/1), Tuscany (16/1), Early Dawn (20/1), Nutini (33/1), Mister Musicmaster (33/1), Indian Affair (50/1), Clement (66/1), Frozen Lake (66/1)
Quite a few of these look to be in the grip of the handicapper, but one who could have got in lightly is ENTHAAR, who makes his debut in this sphere after showing promise in maiden/novice company. From a stable in fine form, he is equipped with cheekpieces for the first time and can score at the main expense of old rivals Coverham and Crystal Casque. Reshaan is open to improvement and is worth keeping an eye on.
- Enthaar
- Coverham
- Crystal Casque
