No match for an odds-on favourite on his hurdling debut at Warwick in May. No shame in that, however, and he should be wiser for the experience.
Dead heated for first in an Irish point-to-point in February. First run for his leading stable and is one to keep an eye on in the betting.
Pulled up on his only start over timber at Chepstow in January. Hails from an in-form stable, but is best watched until showing more.
Point-to-point winner who cost connections £45,000 in May. Interesting to see if the market speaks in his favour as he makes his first appearance over hurdles.
Without a win in six starts for Willie Mullins, but showed ability on more than one occasion. Starts out for a new stable and is worth a second glance.
Runner-up on his only outing in a point-to-point and has shown ability in two starts in bumpers. One to note on hurdling debut for his successful stable.
French import whose last run in January saw him win an AW handicap at Chantilly. Hurdling debut for new stable and the betting will probably represent the best guide to his chance.
Best effort over timber when runner-up at Taunton last December. Has been off the track since then, however, and has had wind surgery. Sets a fair standard if all is well with him.
Promise in bumpers before running well to finish second on his hurdling debut over C&D. Normal improvement should enable him to get involved in a slightly better contest.
Landed a bumper on debut at this track, but was a beaten odds-on favourite under a penalty at Worcester. Makes his hurdling debut with top jockey on board so it is not hard to envisage him being in the thick of things.
Forecasts
Amoola Gold (5/2), Templepark (9/2), River Bray (9/2), We've Got Payet (9/2), Ballyart (8/1), Reve (8/1), Net De Treve (16/1), Generation Gap (25/1), Jonnigraig (33/1), Dr Wells (50/1)
Plenty of guesswork involved with promising types Net De Treve, We've Got Payet, Ballyart and Generation Gap making their hurdling debuts, but TEMPLEPARK did little wrong on his first start over timber and can put that experience to good use despite this being a stronger contest. Jonnigraig, River Bray and Amoola Gold bring fair form to the table and can make their presence felt.
