Winner of his last two starst, 2-3 all in, not having to be fully extended to win last month at Listowel and looks to hold strong claims in this hat-trick quest.
Second runner for Gordon Elliott, all the way winner on second start at Killarney (2m1f, good) in August and looked an exciting prospect in doing so, more to come.
Big Bad Bob gelding. Dam, maiden on the Flat, half-sister to useful bumper winner Forgotten Rules. Likely to learn from debut experience.
Modest handicapper on the Flat, appears to have plenty on his plate going over jumps for the first time here.
Unable to register in 11 starts on the Flat, seemingly in possession of only minor ability and a big job on tackling obstacles for the first time against decent opposition.
Another maiden on the Flat and has already started to look regressive in that sphere. First start over jumps, watching brief seems safest.
Has won on the Flat at Cork in the spring over extended-mile, tailed off at Ballinrobe last month hurdles bow and makes little appeal here.
Mount Nelson filly has looked no better than modest on the Flat so far, faces tough ask here seemingly on first start over jumps.
Has disappointed connections in a number of drab displays since April on the Flat and looks to be one to swerve on switch to this code as a result.
Couple of wins on the Flat for Jim Bolger, achieving more than plenty of these rivals did when running in that sphere. First attempt at jumps, could fill the minor role.
Forecasts
Chief Justice (4/6), Elysian Plains (7/4), Our Legend (14/1), Rince Deireanach (18/1), Havingagoodtime (20/1), Nancy D'Alton (25/1), It's Paddys Day (50/1), Let It Go Papa (50/1), Definite Doyenne (50/1), Coral Blue (66/1)
CHIEF JUSTICE carried some famous colours to victory at Listowel last time out, a first Irish jumps winner for Cheveley Park Stud. He didn't have to go to the well then and likely can maintain his unbeaten record over timber with a repeat. The main threat should come from stablemate Elysian Plains, a ready hurdles winner at Killarney already and another smart prospect for Gordon Elliott's thriving team. Rince Deireanach looks best placed to pick up some minor honours.
- Chief Justice
- Elysian Plains
