Ran out a comfortable winner on AW debut over C&D last week and the form looked strong. Capable of defying a penalty if this does not come too soon.
Improved from debut to justify favouritism on her next two outings. Not disgraced in higher grade last time when third to a subsequent Group 3 winner. Stable 9-20 with juveniles here.
Made all to score at Chester off 6lb lower. More patiently ridden on next two starts including his last run when he failed to stay a mile. Better than those runs indicate but still work to do off this mark.
Has made all to win two minor races before tackling a valuable sales race at Doncaster. Will be more at home in this smaller field and his gutsy attitude will gain him more victories.
By More Than Ready out of an AW Group winner. Best run came on debut but has not progressed since. First run on an artificial surface and pedigree raises hopes she can take a step forward.
Exceed And Excel colt cost €190,000 and improved from debut when making late progress for an albeit well-held third at Kempton. Too keen on next start in a hot turf maiden but remains interesting off such a low mark on nursery debut.
Has produced two solid AW efforts, including one on Tapeta, since cheekpieces were fitted but last week's Newmarket run tempers enthusiasm.
Mixed form so far but proved he has what it takes to win a race when emerging victorious in Novice auction at Hamilton in July. Form in nurseries has been very modest though.
Has run to a similar level on all four starts including his nursery debut after a lengthy break. Has a modest race in him but this looks a strong contest for the grade.
Has improved since stepping up to this trip and 6f may have been too sharp last time. More exposed than some of the principals and one of a few in this who like to lead.
Forecasts
Fox Power (11/8), Sir Victor (6/1), Rayig (6/1), Concello (13/2), Mayfair Spirit (10/1), Revich (12/1), Desert Lantern (18/1), Love Your Work (22/1), Camachess (33/1), Aurag (50/1)
Desert Lantern and Rayvig are likely market movers on handicap debut for their powerful yards. There should be a good pace on here with a few who like to kick on including FOX POWER who impressively made all to score here last week. That form leaves him well-handicapped despite his penalty and his previous runs suggest that he may not have to dictate the pace. Concello rates a big danger given the value of her latest run, whilst game front-runner Sir Victor will be happier in this company than was the case last time.
