Failed to build on a couple of promising spins over hurdles over the summer when finishing well down the field at Downpatrick and Listowel most recently, more needed.
0-4 in maiden hurdles, though not devoid of promise so far. Handicapper doesn't appear to have taken any undue risks here.
Twice a winner over this trip at Listowel and Sligo this summer (both on good ground) and runner-up at former track last month. Has gone up 2lb for that run but should be in the mix again.
Runner up in a 2m5f Tramore maiden hurdle in August, easily the best of four efforts over timber. Subsequent handicap bow at Navan (2m6f, good to firm) offered something to work on.
Sole hurdle success came in a Punchestown maiden hurdle in December 2015. Well held since and has failed to place on this ground on seven occasions in the past.
Twice scored over timber in 2016, before enduring more than 700 days on the sidelines. Recent runs at Sligo and Listowel haven't offered great hopes that ability remains intact.
Won a Bellewstown maiden hurdle in August 2016 over 2m1f on good ground. Chequered time since, failing to build on promising Wexford reappearance over fences this summer. Reverts to hurdles needing to bounce back.
Showed only modest ability in four maiden hurdles and no improvement to report from handicap starts at Sligo and Navan, both over 2m. Goes up in distance now.
Just one win in 18 starts over timber and erratic form this season. Runner-up effort at Wexford (2m4f, good) early last month would put him in the mix, but poor since at Ballinrobe on testing surface (has handled before).
One from 21 over timber and showed little or nothing in two starts at Wexford and Listowel early in the summer. Off since and watching brief seems safest.
Wexford winner in July over 3m on soft going, likely amiss next time at Downpatrick but ran well last month at Navan (2m6f, good to firm) when beaten less than 4L in 27-runner handicap. Can get involved.
Just the one win from 13 over hurdles so far, but placed in five further starts and often runs well. Runner-up at Ballinrobe (2m4f, soft to heavy) last month and needs considering.
0-3 in maiden hurdles and hasn't looked like making an impact. Tongue tie added now reverting into handicaps for the first time.
Largely disappointing in four maiden hurdles having gone off at fancy prices each time. Steps up in trip for this handicap bow, needs to improve for it.
Useful Flat winner has shown some promise in novice hurdles on occasion but still left with improvement to find having been well beaten in both handicaps so far.
Maiden after 31 starts over jumps, no impact in two starts over fences recently for new yard after a layoff (includes a fall) and likely best watched back over timber.
Long-standing maiden across all codes, has looked typically limited over hurdles this summer and likely career-best would only yield minor honours now.
