Modest 57-rated handicapper for Mick Appleby when last seen over 12-months ago. Impossible to consider on stable debut.
Stayed on well in the final furlong over C&D last month finishing second of 14 beaten ¾L. One for the shortlist with accomplished apprentice in the plate.
Useful 66-rated handicapper on the Flat for Sylvester Kirk. 13th of 18 on stable debut at Fairyhouse last month over 6f, but was only beaten 4L in a bunch finish. Each-way claims with competent jockey on board.
Won a claimer over C&D here last month, beating 12 rivals 1¼L on stable debut following move from Jason Ward. Entitled to make the shortlist with capable claimer.
Promising fourth of 14 over C&D here last month beaten a little over 1L. Remains open to improvement with adept rider in the saddle.
Well held when finishing down the field in three career starts to date. Out of sorts since June and this looks a tough ask.
Winner of three of his 26 starts here with a further six place finishes to hand, but has failed to hit the frame in seven starts at the trip. Others preferred.
C&D winner previously but has not been seen since finishing down the field here over this trip in March 2017. Opposable on return to action.
Won over C&D in March off a 3lb higher mark. Beaten but not disgraced since and was only 1L adrift of the winner here last month. Could be on a dangerous mark with efficient apprentice on board.
Has only beaten a couple of horses home in a couple of starts so far and losing run set to continue here.
Running better than form figures would suggest until a disappointing display at the Curragh in August. Has hit the frame on two occasions here from nine visits and this looks a tall order.
Winner over C&D last month off a 4lb lower mark when staying on well in the closing stages under todays able claimer. Likely to run well once again.
Running well in defeat over C&D recently including a 1L defeat behind My Lark last month. Looks a leading contender.
First Reserve: Well beaten in six starts for trainer-John Gosden and unable to halt decline in five starts for new connections. Hard to place any faith in.

MAJOR POWER can build on his promising fourth of 14 over C&D here last month beaten a little over 1L on first start at this venue. The three-year-old can land the spoils from recent C&D winner My Lark, possible improver, Path Of Silver and the resurgent Bittersweet. Course winners Fastidious and Three Majors should not be easily discounted and can go well at a price.

- Darvie
