Best effort so far over hurdles came at Tipperary (2m, good) in May, when beaten under 7L into fourth from this mark. Well held at Listowel last time. Headgear now applied and not ruled out if that can induce improvement.
Has not yet managed to better a promising debut bumper run from 13-months ago. However, best effort since was his latest, when 11L fourth over a similar trip at Killarney. Same mark here, so more needed.
Won a Tramore maiden hurdle (2m, good) in 2016. Well below that form for some time after, but recent efforts heading back in right direction. Has it to prove over this far, but not written off.
Showed significant improvement on previous efforts when ½L winner at Clonmel (2m3½f, gd/yld) last time, in first-time blinkers. Up 4lb for that, but if headgear remains as effective, she has claims.
0-10 career profile and yet to make the frame in any of those. Can only watch.
0-4 under rules and not seen anything like enough yet to suggest that she can take the measure of this field.
Best effort over hurdles was when 4½L third here (2m7f, heavy) in March. Dropped back to 2m3½f (good) at here with another decent effort in May. Out of sorts since. Cheekpieces now on and would have claims if that sparks a revival.
Lightly-raced for his age. Made moderate progress for his age in 2017, but has failed to complete in both starts this year. Plenty to prove.
Has looked decidedly moderate so far, although couldn't completely rule her out based on her short head second at Kilbeggan (3m1f, good) in July. Below that all three runs since, however, so she is no 'good thing' on that evidence.
2-41, with both her wins over Tramore's 2m5f, on good ground. Latest of those was from 2lb lower, in June. Beaten just over 2L from this mark here last time. Should be involved.
Well beaten in all four starts over hurdles, and needs major improvement to figure.
Has gone off at generous odds and been well beaten in all six starts. Can only watch.
Won here over 2m3½f (good) in May, when 1lb lower. Went close last time over fences from 5lb higher. Is not as good in this sphere, but arrives in decent form and has claims.
Forecasts
Redwood Boy (4/1), Courtin Bb (5/1), Glamorous Nellie (6/1), Hussle Up (8/1), Casadel Sol (9/1), Bere Haven (10/1), Its Only A Dream (10/1), Dundeedy Lad (11/1), Desertmore Dreamer (11/1), Randall's Aoibhinn (20/1), Brideview Weir (20/1), Tsarina Sophia (25/1), Kilcolman Dj (33/1)
Desertmore Dreamer is coming back into better form and could go well here, while Redwood Boy arrives in decent nick after going close over fences. He has claims at his best, though consistency is not always his strong suit. Glamorous Nellie is entitled to respect after going up 4lb for her last-time win, but the suggestion is DUNDEEDY LAD, who goes well here and might just be sparked into a revival by headgear. Courtin Bb is also of interest.
- Dundeedy Lad
- Glamorous Nellie
- Redwood Boy
