Stays 1m4½f on the Flat. Well held in both hurdles runs last winter. Fit from the Flat, but needs improvement in this discipline.

Debut bumper winner at Wexford in July and ran well on hurdles debut when 4L second at Kilbeggan (2m, good) in August. Should come on for that experience and looks a leading player.

Maiden in two point-to-points and tailed off on hurdles debut. Can only watch.

8/1
Point-to-point winner at the fourth attempt. Well held over fences last two starts. Not devoid of ability on her first hurdles run at Gowran (2m4f) in June. Needs to bounce back.
33-1 and tailed off on debut in a Listowel bumper last month. Can only watch on hurdles introduction.

14/1
26-race maiden. Went close a couple of times in 2016 and career-best came when fourth at Wexford 13-months ago (2m4f, good). In-and-out since, but probably has frame claims in this field.
Showed some promise in a bumper at Fairyhouse last December (heavy), but not back at that level either in that discipline or in two hurdles starts since. Pulled up last time, so has a bit to prove.
100-1 for both starts so far, when she has shown nothing of interest. Watch.

Forecasts

Shush (1/3), Elm Grove (4/1), Ballybrowney Walk (8/1), Kilbarry Calling (9/1), Day Day (14/1), Alpine Scent (25/1), Cottage Kitty (50/1), Inchidaly Breeze (66/1)

Verdict

A very poor contest on paper and the Willie Mullins-trained SHUSH looks to have been found a good opportunity to break her duck over hurdles at the second attempt. Ballybrowney Walk and Day Day looks the others of greater interest.
  1. Shush
  2. Ballybrowney Walk
  3. Day Day
