Verdict

A race which promises to be informative for the future, featuring plenty of nice types on paper and pedigree. The John Gosden-trained newcomer Muchly was taken out of a planned engagement at Newmarket recently, but with her trainers reputation in mind and as a half-sister to eight winners, she's most definitely shortlist material, as is the steadily improving 350,000gns yearling Accommodate. However, based on pedigree the horse which appeals most for a successful career on an artificial surface is Jeremy Noseda's QUASAR; and she posted a debut full of promise on turf at Yarmouth in August.
