Ran well in three bumpers, without winning any of them. Jumped right on debut over hurdles at Ffos Las, leading before falling when starting to back pedal two out. Drops in trip. Has ability to be involved granted a clear round.

Placed in two French bumpers and ran well on British debut in the same discipline. Well held in Listed company when last seen in February. Half-brother to a 2m hurdle winner, so may pick up races. Has so far raced only with cut in the ground.

Nine-time Flat winner at up to 1m4f and goes well on a sound surface. Has enjoyed a good summer in that code and may be able to do better now back over hurdles. Sure to be well prepared and is very interesting.

Has won four races at up to 1m4f in the other code. Plenty of sprint speed in her pedigree, but also a full-brother to a 2 hurdle winner. Stable in decent form and he could show up well on hurdles debut.

Placed in three bumpers, the latest for this trainer last month being a dip below the form of the previous two. Bred for this game, however, and with that recent reappearance to sharpen him up, he could be a big player on his hurdles intro.

Showed promise in a Warwick bumper in April, but never a threat on hurdles debut here over C&D (good) in August. In good hands, but much more needed to figure this time.

Produced an improved effort on his stable debut in a Huntingdon bumper, when last seen in March. Nice jumping pedigree and clearly acts well enough when fresh, so he is an interesting hurdling newcomer.

Irish point-to-point winner who was runner-up in both his first two starts over hurdles at this venue in August. Below that level at Uttoxeter last time, but if bouncing back to his best then he makes the short-list.

Val Mome (2/1), Some Day Soon (3/1), Jacbequick (4/1), Neachells Bridge (5/1), Mythical Prince (10/1), Court Royale (12/1), Enrichissant (14/1), My Fantasea (14/1), Realms Of Fire (20/1)

Verdict

An interesting novices' hurdle that sees several in with claims and the vote goes to JACBEQUICK. David Pipe has kept him going with a couple of runs on the Flat since taking over handling the gelding. He arrives in good form, fit and may be capable of better over hurdles than he has previously shown. Court Royale can improve on his latest effort. He might take a hand here, along with Neachells Bridge and Val Mome. Mythical Prince and Some Day Soon are both newcomers of interest.
