Off the mark at the sixth attempt over hurdles when leading close home at Newton Abbot (2m1f, good) last month, and given a fairly nominal 5lb rise in the weights since; key player.
In decent form under both codes during the summer, but appeared to find her current mark a fraction too high when held at Kelso (2m2f, good to firm) more latterly; generally reliable around Sedgefield.
18-race maiden (0-6 over hurdles); beaten 24L (third) by Sue Be It at Stratford (2m2f+ mares' novices') in June, and nearest at the finish sixth of 11 to Chookie Royale over C&D since.
Progressive over fences in 2016 (2m1f-2m3f), but has failed to return from a 22-month absence at anything like that level of form over hurdles.
Veteran and a five-time winner over hurdles, including over C&D in August 2013; inching back up the weights after a couple of recent placed efforts; finished 2L third to Chookie Royale (Iolani fourth) over C&D (good to firm) in August.
Formerly with Willie Mullins, this 6yo remains a maiden over hurdles after 12 attempts; finished 3L fourth of 11 to Chookie Royale (Smart Ruler third) over C&D on his latest start over timber.
Untested outside of novice/maiden company over hurdles, so tough to gauge exactly how much ability he may (or may not) possess; has failed to make any impression over fences (pulled up on both starts).
Modest on the Flat (52-rated on the AW); big prices in four starts over hurdles so far, including at 50/1 on handicap debut at Uttoxeter (2m, good) - finished just over 5L sixth of 11 to Mauricio.
0-5 over hurdles for previous trainer Jonathan Haynes (retains ownership); pulled-up when last in competitive action on New Years Day (2m Catterick, soft); interesting to see exactly what Sue Smith can make of this stable newcomer.
Came good at the 36th attempt at Southwell (November 2017) - runner up Vado Forte a three-time winner since; increasingly modest (falling in the weights), and paid the price for racing freely when down the field (C&D) behind Chookie Royale latest.

Compatriot (9/4), Getonsam (4/1), Iolani (5/1), Smart Ruler (6/1), Mitcd (7/1), Mash Potato (15/2), Hey Bob (14/1), Presenting Streak (16/1), Hazy Manor (20/1), Captain Revelation (40/1), Super Charge (66/1)
An unappealing opener with a similar contest over C&D in August providing a route into this race. Winner Chookie Royale made all on that occasion with a number of these runners in behind including the veteran Smart Ruler (third), Iolani (fourth), Hazy Manor (sixth) and the free-racing Hey Bob (ninth). However, the top-weight and recent Newton Abbot scorer COMPATRIOT is probably the safest option despite a 5lb rise in the weights, with trainer Olly Murphy 2 from 8 (25%) at Sedgefield since 2017.
