Won over 1m1f at Tipperary in May but has not been anywhere near that level since. Only 4lb higher than for that earlier win and conditions here are no problem. Worth a check in the market.
Remains a maiden after eight starts now and form had really tailed off when last seen in June. Returns after a break here off a good mark and now takes a drop in trip. Needs to do plenty more.
Slowly returning to form throughout this year and ran much his best race when a close third over C&D 11 days ago. Only nudged up 1lb here and these conditions look ideal. Should go well again.
Regular here and has won over C&D. Running well enough over further the last twice to suggest this drop in trip could do the trick. Remains on a very competitive mark and is a leading player once more.
Dropping down the weights and after disappointing when sent off favourite at Carlisle two starts back, the cheekpieces brought about no improvement last time and no has plenty of questions to answer.
Off the mark at the 17th attempt on turf when successful at Hamilton (1m½f, soft) last time. Up 6lb here but should have gained some confidence from that win and can go well again here.
Yet to win in 21 starts and hasn't looked like stopping that run of late. One of three here for her trainer and market will probably be a fair guide as to her chances.
Has won here but has been badly out of form so far this year. Mark is a very attractive one but just not in good enough form to be considered at the moment.
Only five starts so far and has yet to trouble the judge. Still early days and her run at Newcastle (1m, AW) last time was a step in the right direction. Could be more to come
Getting towards the veteran stage now but absolute loves it here. This trip very much stretches his stamina though and given current balance of form, is up against it here.
Big prices and tailed off on all three starts so far. Starts life in handicaps off a basement mark here but hard to fancy unless the market screams his name.
Forecasts
Canadian George (5/2), Less Of That (4/1), Majeste (6/1), Jack Blane (6/1), Remember Rocky (13/2), Eyreborn (11/1), Bob Maxwell (14/1), My Cherokee (33/1), Let Right Be Done (33/1), Bareed (50/1), Goninodaethat (80/1)
Jack Blane finally won on turf last time and that should have done his confidence some good. He is one of three in here for Keith Dalgleish. Canadian George is another and he has run very well the last twice without winning. Today could well be the day. REMEMBER ROCKY has been in good form without winning and with conditions ideal can take the finale.
- Remember Rocky
- Canadian George
- Jack Blane
