Comes here on a hat-trick following a couple of impressive performances, here over C&D in August and in a Wexford five-runner contest last month. Leading contender.
C&D winner here in June in a four-runner contest on good ground. Beaten in Grade 3 company since but should be a leading player here.
Distance winner of a Wexford beginners chase on good ground in June. Second of nine ½L adrift of Rashaan in a Grade 3 Galway contest last month and sure to improve for the performance here.
131-rated hurdler and has been generally out of sorts since returning to the track in February. Well held in three career chases to date and this looks a tough ask on stable debut.
Distance winner in the summer over hurdles at Down Royal and Bellewstown. Comfortably won his beginners chase at Killarney and will be of interest despite step up in class.
Won on his only start over the larger obstacles in a Galway beginners chase at the festival beating 14 rivals a little over 2L. The second that day, Winter Escape has subsequently gone on to win. Promising sort holds strong place claims.
Failed to win his third chase in a row when finishing second behind the impressive Arcenfete at Wexford last month. Will find it tough to turn the tables here.
Step up to novice company looked beyond the mare when jumping poorly at Listowel last month. The win at Tramore in August beginning to look like a one-off.
Distance winner of a Cork handicap hurdle over 12-months ago. Looks a long-term prospect on chasing introduction.
Forecasts
Cadmium (6/4), Ornua (3/1), St Stephens Green (7/2), Classic Theatre (12/1), Monarch (12/1), Arcenfete (12/1), Ejayteekay (40/1), Cliff House (40/1), Dawn In The Park (50/1)
With possibly the Henry De Bromhead-trained Ornua taking the field along in the early stages Grade 3 Galway chase third, CADMIUM can take advantage of the pace and see off the potential challenge of St Stephens Green and the J P McManus-owned Monarch in the closing stages. C&D winner of a beginners chase here in August Arcenfete should be of interest to each-way backers.
- Cadmium
- Ornua
- Arcenfete
