Showing good steady improvement since switching to handicaps and won with something to spare at Sandown (1m2f, good) last time. Up 5lb here but further progress is likely and should go well.

Three starts in novice events and showed improved form here over 1m latest when very much shaping like this extra yardage will suit. On an appealing mark here and has solid claims on handicap debut and yard having a great spell.

Improved effort switching to the AW when a close second here over 1m last time when not getting the best of runs. Extra yardage looks like it will suit now and should be involved with cheekpieces on first time.

Much improved when second to Maid Up on handicap bow at Goodwood in June, and winner placed in Group 2 since; couldn't take advantage of current mark at Newmarket last time, and now wears blinkers having shown signs of temperament (flashes tail).

Made an encouraging debut for this yard when a good third at Sandown ten days ago. Only 2lb above last winning mark and will be a player if coming on from that first run after a break. Cheekpieces go on.

Signs of ability in three starts in novice events including over C&D last time. Opening mark looks fair on handicap debut and should be capable of doing better.

Shown glimmers of ability in her three starts so far. Has looked a bit one-paced at times and it maybe she'll end up needing further than this. Hood goes on first time today and should improve for handicaps.

Winner at Wolverhampton back in November. Returned from a seven month break to run a cracker at Chepstow in June and has been off again since. Break is a worry but still unexposed and capable of better.

Best start came on sole start on a sound surface. Makes handicap debut on a reasonable mark and bred to appreciate middle-distances. Had wind surgery since her last run and returns from a five-month absence.

Best effort so far when running on well at Lingfield (1m2f, AW) last time to be a close fourth. Wouldn't need to improve on that much to play a part here and sound claims of going close.

Forecasts

Anaakeed (15/8), Mystic Meg (3/1), Nyala (5/1), Love To Breeze (6/1), Imminent Approach (7/1), Narodowa (8/1), Pink Phantom (16/1), Power Home (16/1), Tesorina (16/1), Qaswarah (25/1), Guitar Georgia (25/1)

Verdict

Some improving types in here and you can make a case for a few. Tesorina ran her best race so far at Lingfield last time and there should be more to come. Nyala has shown improved form since the application of the hood and is respected. Qaswarah shapes like this extra trip should suit and is capable of improving. ANAAKEED has improved with each start and looks to be on a very tempting mark on handicap debut. This extra yardage looks sure to suit and her yard are going through a golden spell.
