Two wins from 17 starts including one over this C&D. Generally consistent and last two runs may be best ignored. Should be dangerous again off current mark.
Has plummeted in the handicap following eight starts since arriving from Ireland. Thirsk third would put him right in this but all other recent form leaves him vulnerable.
Twice a winner over 7f here and much better off falling mark at Beverley. Needs to prove he needs this far.
Good second at Haydock and has been well served by soft ground on turf. Open to more improvement but more required off 2lb higher mark and surface an unknown.
Went close at Redcar to gaining a first win of the year when short of room late on. Remains well handicapped and goes well here. Should be involved.
Maiden has finished second in four from six starts. Lacks a change of gears at the business end and worth a try back in trip, however others more convincing.
Winner of a weak Hamilton maiden who found his revised handicap mark too much to handle the last twice. Eased another 3lb but likely to need further help from the handicapper.
Hasn't been able to add to his debut win and although drop in trip should help he hasn't really progressed and others preferred.
Hasn't won in 21 starts since debut success and disappointing recently that he couldn't take advantage of falling mark. Others look stronger candidates.
Both wins came as a juvenile over 7½f at Beverley in 2016. Poor run at Ripon last time and didn't go well on previous start here.
Tailed off when finishing last on his two most recent runs and reserves his best for Southwell. Easy to dismiss.
Consistent performer who goes well here and was running on well over the C&D last time. Remains on a good mark and likely to be involved again.
Left Dermot Weld for 48,000gns in July with a career record of 1-9. Showed little on stable debut and although drop in trip is a plus, remains easy to oppose.
Disappointing on last three runs but a five-time C&D winner who has done most of his recent starts over further at Ayr. 8lb lower than last win here in January and may be worth taking a chance with.
Forecasts
Mon Beau Visage (9/2), Equiano Springs (5/1), Christopher Wood (6/1), Oud Metha Bridge (7/1), Testa Rossa (9/1), Qawamees (11/1), Valentino Dancer (12/1), Moxy Mares (12/1), Amood (12/1), Muirsheen Durkin (16/1), Elusive Heights (18/1), Kentuckyconnection (33/1), So You Thought (33/1), Shearian (100/1)
Plenty of C&D form on offer and if TESTA ROSSA can get back anywhere near his latest win over it in January, then he is extremely well handicapped. Oud Metha Bridge rates the main danger as he had a tough ask last time and also likes it here. Mon Beau Visage is on an attractive mark and deserves another win while in his current form Amood is hard to discount.
