Broke through with the addition of blinkers (retained) at Kempton and open to further progress. 6lb penalty to overcome but he's made nice improvement on his last three starts and is very much going the right way.
Won on stable debut and generally consistent until disappointing on soft last time. First run here but prefers an AW surface and drop in trip will help. Has claims.
Very well beaten in all three starts since Beverley win and requires first-time blinkers to have a major effect in order to be involved.
Unsuited by a mile here last time but is very well handicapped on three C&D wins if returning anywhere near old form. Respected but others look stronger on recent efforts.
Beat Supremer Power over this C&D and although a decent enough run here last time may find one or two too good again off this current mark.
Nine-race maiden who hasn't built on early promise. Stable struggling for winners at present and others preferred back in a handicap.
Second to Gun Case over this C&D before winning easily at Catterick. Struggled off 8lb higher mark at the same venue last time and others likely to be better handicapped.
Remains 2lb higher than when making all at Ayr and can race too freely. Disappointed on previous visit here and a bit to prove on last three runs.
Just three wins from 42 starts with the last coming back in 2016. Beaten favourite last time and needs to find extra.
Beaten favourite in four of last five starts and disappointing over this C&D on latest run. Doesn't look particularly well handicapped at 9lb higher than last winning mark.
Seven-race maiden who has really struggled in all four starts this campaign. Remains hard to recommend after finishing last on two most recent runs.
Rattled off a hat-trick at this track in November 2017 but very disappointing when last seen in April. First run since wind surgery but likely best watched.
Forecasts
Harbour Approach (5/2), War Department (5/1), Supreme Power (7/1), Fieldsman (7/1), Rebel State (8/1), Ebbisham (8/1), Smugglers Creek (11/1), Gun Case (12/1), Mr Gent (28/1), Breathoffreshair (33/1), Dasheen (40/1), Lyrical Pursuit (80/1)
Gun Case always has to be respected over this C&D and while he's expected to go well may be vulnerable to a better handicapped rival. HARBOUR APPROACH comes here off the back of a win, is lightly-raced and is open to more progress than most. Ebbisham has looked a better horse on a synthetic surface and shouldn't be dismissed.
- Harbour Approach
- Ebbisham
