Held in four bumpers so far and was pulled-up on hurdling debut at Bellewstown when last seen in July. returns from a short break here but has questions to answer now.
Modest form in a number of point-to-point starts since the turn of the year. Improved to be third in bumper at Downpatrick in June. Fair effort over hurdles last time and should be in the shake-up with cheekpieces added.
Sent off odds-on on debut at Kilbeggan, ran somewhat green and finished only fifth of eight. Similar effort at Tramore last time and needs to improve on that to win.
Gamut gelding whose dam was lightly raced in bumpers/over hurdles. Has failed to build on a couple of promising starts last term and readily passed over here.
Third of 15 beaten 14L behind the handy Dinons in a Roscommon maiden hurdle last month before a similar effort at Listowel last time. Leading player here.
Jeremy filly that cost €10,000 as a three-year-old. Dam was a winner of a bumper and a hurdle contest over 2m4f. Likely type on paper and top rider aboard. Market check needed.
25-1 and well beaten on debut. Much improved effort when a close second of 10 at Kelso last time. Sure to win races and top jockey booked.
Forecasts
Salty Boy (1/1), Miss Aloud (11/4), Happy Lad (5/1), Mid Day Gun (10/1), Amor Verdadero (14/1), Peace Party (16/1), Arizengo (33/1)
Salty Boy's hurdles form sets the standard here and he should be pretty tough to beat if translating that back into a bumper. Miss Aloud showed improved form at Kelso last time and is feared. AMOR VERDADERO has a nice pedigree and could well make a winning debut under rules.
