Easy winner of last two, barely coming off the bridle to score by 18l over C&D last time out. Penalties stacking up now but hard to knock the way he goes about his business, and must be a leading player again.

Useful form in bumpers (winning twice) and thought good enough to take his chance in Aintree's Grade 2 event in April. Steady start to hurdling career but needs more if he's to get involved today, and may be one for handicaps.

Winner of a bumper on debut at Ayr last November (heavy ground) but went backwards in two starts after that and now has a bit to prove this year. Some rain might help his cause but best watched today all the same.
Just the one start in a point-to-point so far, and the fact he pulled up there hardly presses his claims here.

Moderate on the Flat and only got a fleeting glimpse of Global Jackpot as he cleared away here last time out. No realistic chance of success on that.
Point-to-point winner in January and made a very good Rules introduction, second in a Chepstow bumper (travelled well) and didn't look short of speed. Gets plenty of weight and yard like to introduce a good one here. Big player.
Some useful hurdles winners in the family and he's shown enough in two bumper starts to think he has a future over hurdles, but this could be a hot little race to be making his debut in the sphere in.

Twice a winner on the Flat in Germany and was backed to make a winning debut for this yard last month, but disappointed. Wind operation since and tongue tie on here may help, but it needs to. Market best guide as to chance.

Regressive on the Flat and done nothing in two hurdles starts to suggest he's going to be doing anything other than making up the numbers here.

Forecasts

Global Jackpot (8/11), Make My Heart Fly (5/4), Kapgarry (2/1), Promise Of Peace (11/2), Chanceanotherfive (10/1), Emissaire (40/1), Pinspot (50/1), Hellavashock (100/1), Flying Dismount (100/1), Starshell (100/1)

Verdict

Global Jackpot is the one to catch on recent form but he's got to give a good chunk of weight away to KAPGARRY and the task may prove just a bit too much to take on. Make My Heart Fly would hold obvious chances if turning out again after her win here yesterday, and both Promise Of Peace and Pinspot are ones that will do better in the future.
  1. Kapgarry
  2. Global Jackpot
  3. Promise Of Peace
