Showed a useful turn of foot to score on debut before finding himself outclassed at Doncaster in a hot conditions race. Held a Middle Park entry so clearly highly regarded.

Hard to know what he achieved on debut as the second and fourth have turned out moderate. The third has developed into an 81-rated performer. Beaten on firm ground when last seen in May and has been allowed time following wind surgery.

500,000 gns purchase chased home the Gimcrack runner-up on debut before taking his chance in the Chesham Stakes. Beat a highly regarded previous winner at Haydock and connections feel there is better to come. Stable took this last year.

Rare winning debutante for this yard and that suggests she might be better than the form looks at first glance. Clocked a good speed figure and well-drawn here.

Bred to be a lot better than his Windsor debut suggests, but this is a particularly strong contest and he will need to find his stride far more quickly.

Full-brother to Shanghai Glory who has carried these colours with distinction for this stable, but who has not been at his best on AW tracks.

Equiano half-sister to Listed juvenile winner Raydiance out of a dam who won over a mile and liked AW surfaces. Stable not noted for juvenile debut successes.

Half-sister to three winners who all needed a lot further and, although her sire is an influence for speed, she was readily outpaced on debut.

Forecasts

San Donato (4/9), Lady Madison (3/1), Converter (8/1), Crackin Dream (10/1), Scottish Blade (12/1), Aristomachos (14/1), Te Amo Te Amo (25/1), Hua Hin (33/1), Passerina (50/1), Frequence (50/1)

Verdict

This looks most likely to go to one of the previous winners with SAN DONATO's overall form and that of his stable earning him the vote. At Haydock he had a number of previous winners behind when getting the better of an opponent who had hacked up on his debut and his yard are 5-15 with AW juveniles this month. Converter looked above average when making a winning debut and rates a bigger danger than Hua Hin, whilst Lady Madison is hard to evaluate having recorded a good time to beat weaker rivals than she faces here.
