Those that have experience haven't set the world alight so far and there is a good chance that this could go to a newcomer. Barbarosa just about sets the standard on his second at Brighton last time but that is not a high standard to aim at. Both Absolutio and TILMEETH make plenty of appeal on debut. Preference is for the latter who has a nice middle-distance pedigree and his price doubled on purchase as a yearling. The son of Kodiac should know his job on debut and can make a winning start.
