Generally consistent and will be suited by dropping back in trip; on ground which should also suit ideally. Better than he consented to show last time out and has to be an interesting contender with a jockey who knows him well back in the plate.
Best efforts achieved over this trip and the filly has no issues with the predicted state of the ground. Fitting of a visor may help sharpen her up as her style of running can leave her with a lot to do. One to monitor closely in the betting.
Goes well here and shaped as if back to form when second at Carlisle earlier this month. On a handy mark and likely to be in the thick of the action if able to take another step forward. Shortlisted.
C&D winner from a 3lb lower mark in August and highly respected on the pick of his efforts. Needs to improve on his last two starts, though.
Won a couple of claimers at Ballinrobe during the summer but held back in handicaps since. The latest of which was admittedly a better effort than it looks on face value. Step up in trip should suit but looks a risky option for a win only punt.
Unexposed on turf but handles a fair bit of give underfoot, so ought to handle the ground conditions. Form has nosedived on the AW of late, however, and the mare, who is a 0-20 maiden, has a bit to prove just now.
Finished ahead of the likes of Crazy Tornado when a respectable third here in June. Not so effective in two subsequent visits though and the lack of consistency has to be a concern.
Has hinted at ability but is still a maiden and will need to up her game if she's going to take advantage of a dropping handicap mark. The trip and ground should suit but a big step forward is required.
Best effort to date when dropped to 6f at The Curragh last time out and starts her handicap career on a feasibly lenient mark. Represents an in-form yard and is another to keep tabs on in the betting.
Wrong at the weights and needs to better recent efforts if he's going to take a hand. Has a bit to find with Crazy Tornado and may again have to settle for a minor role.
Already swapped around a few yards and didn't trouble the judge in any of his previous seven starts. Best watched.

A tough one to call but LESS OF THAT appeals as a punter's choice in a race that could well be run to suit her. Edgar Allan Poe shaped as if he's back to somewhere near his best and is respected as a serious threat; along with Iconic Code and Prancing Oscar, who complete the shortlist.
