Things haven't really gone to plan since winning at Goodwood in June. Very poor the last twice. Best of his form would give him strong claims here but not certain to reproduce it at the moment. Blinkers on first time.

Colt by Koroshio who was a high-class sprinter in Australia. First foal from dam that was a winner in Slovakia. Likely to need this experience on debut and cheekpieces go straight on.

Struggled on handicap debut at Lingfield and didn't fare much better dropped into a seller last time. Hard to fancy on that evidence and a couple of these are likely to be too sharp.

Coach House colt, cost 9,000 gns as a foal and £16,000 as a yearling. Weak in the market and beaten a long way on both starts so far. Drops into a seller here but much more needed to be competitive.

Three starts so far in novice/maiden company and has shown some ability. Should appreciate this drop into selling company and likely to be a leading player with cheekpieces added.

Has been a bit in-and-out so far but ran best race of career when a close second off a mark of 57 in a handicap over C&D last time. Should appreciate this drop in grade but has a bit to find with a few of these.

Ran well enough in a couple of handicaps here last month and should appreciate this drop in grade. Has a bit to find with a few of these but blinkers added first time and not totally discounted.

Slight improvement since going handicapping and should appreciate this drop in grade. Needs plenty of improvement to be considered for win purposes.

Fourth to decent Angel's Hideaway on second start is the standout piece of form for this daughter of Heeraat. Struggled in handicaps over 5f the last twice but should be competitive here dropped in grade and up in trip.

Improving efforts with each run including in a claimer at Beverley (5f, good) last time. Should be capable of better still and makes AW debut today. Draw has not been kind but should be more to come.

€7,000 foal (not sold £4,500 at two). Half-sister to 7f-1m winner Global Leader. Dam 1m2f winner. 66/1 and well beaten on debut. Bare bones of that form needs major improvement to be involved here.

Verdict

Tom Dascombe has won this twice in recent years and appears to have sound claims once again with NOT SO SHY. A reproduction of her best effort would give her sound claims in here and this extra furlong should suit. Comete is of interest dropped in grade in first-time cheekpieces and is feared. Darwina is capable of getting involved if building on a good second here last time.
