C&D winner here over 12-months ago off a 13lb lower mark. Slipping down the handicap once more and holds strong place claims here.
Good form of the spring appears to have disappeared and a 12L defeat when finishing 11th of 16 doesn't stir the enthusiasm.
Seven-race maiden who had shown little signs of ability before a promising second of 12 at Down Royal when last seen in June.
Most encouraging run in a four-race career came at the Listowel festival recently running Shifted Strategy to ½L earlier this month. Repeat of that run would put the filly in the mix here.
Maiden wasn't disgraced on handicap debut when sixth beaten 2½L at Cork over 7f before a disappointing run at the Curragh last month. Will need to improve here.
C&D winner earlier this month on good to firm ground off a 5lb lower mark. Possibilities of going well again but is not the most consistent of sorts.
Not disgraced in a number of starts since May, running well in defeat. Needs to improve on last run but not totally ruled out.
Five-race maiden who has struggled in a couple of starts in June and requires a chunk of improvement to play a part in the finish here.
Struggled in two starts over 1m2f including on yielding ground at Ballinrobe in June before a dismal run in a Tipperary maiden over 1m1f last month. Needs to show significant improvement in this company.
11-race maiden on the Flat and is yet to hit the frame in six starts on turf. Hard to fancy until she shows a hint of ability.
Recently returned from a two year break but has shown very little in three races since. Well out of his depth in this company.
Winner of two of his 33 starts on turf including a win over C&D in June 2015 off a 3lb higher mark. Running well in defeat towards the end of last season and worth a check in the betting.
Win over C&D over two years ago is a distant memory right now and below-par displays are expected to continue here.
Home-bred Dawn Approach filly, cost €50,000 as a foal. Half-sister to a dual-Listed winner. Nothing in three career starts to date and others preferred.
Five-race maiden well held on all starts. First time visor unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.
Promise of Naas third on second start as a two-year-old now a distant memory and form since basically regressive. May find this a tough assignment.

In what looks a weak but open looking contest, C&D winner COSMIC SYMBOL can follow up on his second of 15 beaten a little over 1L in a competitive Listowel handicap earlier this month. The seven-year-old has three win and place positions from nine runs on heavy ground and fight off the challenge from Dharma Rain, Aunty Audrey and the ground dependent Bobby Jean who could be dangerous if getting in to the race.
- Cosmic Symbol
- Dharma Rain
- Bobby Jean
