Won the Fred Winter at Cheltenham back in 2017 but found life a little tougher last season. Now switches to fences following wind surgery and could be capable of taking high rank over fences, although trip around here may be on sharp side.

Developed into a useful novice hurdler and finished last season by finishing second in a valuable race at Sandown on ground that was slower than considered ideal. Has the physique of a chaser and stable in form.

Verdict

Paul Nicholls sets a poser here as Divin Bere bids to give him a fourth successive victory in this. A poor 2017-18 season needs to be laid aside and it is possible wind surgery may be the answer, but for now he carries a risk. Flying Tiger has taken on some of the best hurdlers but he would want some rain and the forecast good ground allows HIGHWAY ONE O ONE a chance to make a winning chase debut. He has always appealed as a chasing type, yet he did nothing but improve as a hurdler and was rated on a par with his chief rivals here after his latest run.
  1. Highway One O One
  2. Flying Tiger
  3. Divin Bere
