Comes here on the back of two very impressive wins at Kilbeggan and Listowel this month. 13lb higher than first win but likely to improve again.

Solid and consistent finishing positions since May including a well deserved win at Downpatrick last month over this trip off a 4lb lower mark. Another bold show looks likely.

Plenty to like about his second of 16 beaten 1¾L in a Roscommon maiden hurdle in July but is generally inconsistent and difficult to trust. Worth a market check on first start for yard.

Will be popular in the market from leading yard and following a head win in a Limerick maiden hurdle when last seen in July. Up in trip and a leading player.

Failed to build on a fine run at Sligo in May with a couple of heavy defeats since. Needs to improve to have a say here.

Beaten a little over 2L over a similar trip in May but well beaten in a couple of drab displays either side of the run. Others preferred.

Forecasts

Irish Lass (2/1), Brex Drago (11/4), Paris Texas (3/1), Stacks Mountain (4/1), First Class Ticket (14/1), Licklighter (18/1), Im Waiting (25/1)

Verdict

The recent form of BREX DRAGO is hard to resist and the in form six-year-old can continue his improvement here at the expense of the Willie Mullins-trained Irish Lass, who return from a two month break and the J P McManus-owned Paris Texas who got off the mark at the eighth time of asking at Downpatrick last month.
  1. Brex Drago
  2. Irish Lass
  3. Paris Texas
