Well held in three below par maiden hurdle displays since May and first-time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about any great improvement.

Catch My Drift32

66/1
Nine-race maiden hurdler who has been well beaten in a number of recent starts since June. Racing 13lb lower than initial handicap mark but this still looks a tall order on form shown.

Churchtown Glen110
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-12| J: Brian Hayes| T: M Winters
10/3
Plenty to like about an improved run in a Tramore 2m maiden hurdle when last seen in June finishing a little over 3L adrift of Rio Lobo. Could be capable of having his say here.

Will have disappointed influential connections in a series of gloomy displays over hurdles since the turn of the year. Worth a check in the betting on return to action here.

Ourauldman35
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-8| J: H Morgan(7)| T: H De Bromhead| BF
7/1
Well backed on hurdling debut to land a Tramore 2m maiden hurdle last month but the Court Cave gelding ended up a well beaten favourite. Market likely to be the best guide here.

Aoibhe's Beau32
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-5| J: G N Fox| T: T O'Brien
12/1
Point-to-point winner who showed glimpses of ability in a couple of bumpers since the turn of the year. Found to be 'clinically abnormal' on hurdling debut but hard to place any faith in here.
8
Horse silk
14/1
Down the field in a number of hurdling starts since June and first-time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to take a hand in the finish.

Age: 5|  Weight: 11-5| J: J P O'Sullivan(7)| T: P J Rothwell| OR:  88

Slight improvement on her laboured maiden hurdle spins when switched to handicap company but will need to improve once again in this contest.

Unseated latest when beaten in a Downpatrick 2m5½f handicap hurdle when last seen in May. Likely to find this a tough assignment.

Forecasts

Featherinyourcap (11/4), Churchtown Glen (10/3), Ballinlina Boy (7/2), Ourauldman (7/1), Miss Echrad (7/1), Aoibhe's Beau (12/1), Holy Motivation (14/1), Montys Angel (33/1), Tidal River (33/1), Catch My Drift (66/1), Sizing Julie (66/1)

Verdict

There was plenty to like about the improvement offered by CHURCHTOWN GLEN last time out running the improving Rio Lobo to 3¾L in a Tramore 2m maiden hurdle when last seen in June and the Michael Winters-trained gelding can see off the challenge form the likes of Ourauldman, beaten favourite last month at Tramore, Miss Echrad and the Gordon Elliott-trained Holy Motivation who can go well at a price.
  1. Churchtown Glen
  2. Ourauldman
  3. Holy Motivation
