Good fourth in the Beverley Bullet but struggled off a slow pace in a small field at Leicester. Talented at his best but needs a strong pace to aim at and not sure to get that here.
On a dangerous turf mark at present and comes here off the back of a fine third in Listed company at Doncaster. Leading hope back in a handicap. Stable also runs Sir Robert Cheval.
Can be excused his latest run when the saddle slipped and has raced competitively on a number of starts this year. Should be competitive again but on a long losing run.
Up 7lb and in grade following front running success at Ayr. Granted an easy lead there but may get the same again and has gone close off this mark in the past. Should make a bold bid.

Forecasts
Encore d'Or (11/8), Sir Robert Cheval (9/2), Poyle Vinnie (9/2), Merry Banter (5/1), Line Of Reason (6/1), Foxy Forever (7/1)
With hold up performers in opposition it looks a good opportunity for Merry Banter to follow up her latest success which was backed up by a strong time. The lack of competition up front may not suit the running style of Line Of Reason while Encore d'Or is a very capable performer and has to be respected off his current turf mark. Poyle Vinnie can be involved again.
