Won Lingfield 7f maiden on second juvenile start but after decent second on debut this term at Brighton in June has run two disappointing races. Eased 2lb and drops in class.
Hinted at ability in two starts last term and duly won second time out this season over a mile at Leicester. Hasn't built on that in subsequent outings and has dropped just enough to sneak into this lower grade.
Had seven starts for George Scott with a second in Windsor mile handicap in June the best he could muster. Dropping down the weights after two lifeless efforts for new connections and much more is needed to figure here.
Won Windsor 5f maiden in July last year but absent 11 months before reappearing two poor runs this term over 7f. Cheekpieces now applied and steps up in trip.
Eight-race maiden but ran well in first time cheekpieces at Chepstow last time when length second in similar event to today after two-month break. May be a touch sharper now and has decent claims.
14 races without success but has been runner-up in three of his last five starts, including a nose defeat at Chelmsford in July and also when second last time at same track over 1m2f. Didn't appear to get home that day and drop back should help.
Victories this term in mile Windsor handicap in the spring and at Brighton in July over 7f. Third at Chelmsofrd latest and eased 1lb so won't be far away if young apprentice is up to the task.
Four runs for Ed Dunlop this term without showing much, but turned over new leaf for new connections when winning on debut for yard at Wolverhampton last week with a bit in hand. 7lb higher but major contender if in similar form.
Both career wins have come over 1m at Chelmsford and hasn't run to the same level elsewhere this far. Failed to stay last two starts over 1m2f and drop back to a mile makes sense. Remains 3lb higher than last win.
12-race maiden who has yet to reach a place following four outings on the AW. Did run badly last time when slightly hampered fourth at Chepstow and continues to ease in the weights.
Popped up at 40/1 here in December when winning 7f handicap off mark of 62. Hasn't run so well since the spring and now 3lb lower than that success. Has run poorly last four starts.
Scored at Lingfield over a mile in February and ran well all subsequent start last winter. Not seen since May but has gone well fresh in the past and remains feasibly handciapped under good apprentice.

Decoration Of War (1/1), Is It Off (6/1), Livvys Dream (10/1), Mankind (10/1), Global Wonder (12/1), Claudine (14/1), Saguaro (14/1), Bombshell Bay (16/1), Cristal Pallas Cat (20/1), Mimram (20/1), Four Fifty Three (25/1), City Guest (33/1), Sebastiano Ricci (33/1), Calling Rio (50/1)
An open looking handicap with plenty holding claims, but DECORATION OF WAR appeared to have thrived for his new yard when hacking up last time and despite 7lb rise he looks the one to beat if in similar mood. Both Global Wonder and top weight Claudine have place claims, along with Is It Off, Bombshell Bay, and the handicap debutante Saguaro who may improve for this longer trip.
- Decoration Of War
- Global Wonder
- Saguaro
