Once with Nicky Henderson (135-rated at peak), but pulled-up on each of his last four starts in Ireland (mainly in Point-to-Points), and arrives for his first start for Simon West with a whole range of questions to be answered.
Course winner over both hurdles (2m) and fences (2m4f), and seemingly back to form with a decent effort at Perth (3m) last month when beaten just under 3L by Arizona Bound; forecast ground conditions ideal.
Irish point-to-point winner (8-race rules maiden) who showed up well over hurdles here in May (2m7f+) when beaten 1½L by Sporting Milan; came up a little short on chasing debut (C&D) thereafter, but looks tailor-made for this discipline.
Made most, and had the race at his mercy when falling at the final fence at Sedgefield (3m2f) latest; cruelly raised 4lb, but essentially is unexposed over the larger obstacles (and stamina proven); should progress with further chasing experience.
Showed improved form under rules in early 2018, including when twice placed at this track (2m4f-3m); work to do with Quick Brew on more recent Perth form and is gradually inching upwards in the weights.
Reliable throughout the summer of 2017 (including when a runner-up over C&D), but hasn't looked to be the same horse since wind surgery (shown a poor attitude to racing); cheekpieces applied seeking some spark.
16-race maiden; runner-up on just his second start over fences here in May (Rising Marienbard third), but hasn't kicked on since then and is opposed on the balance of probability until he proves that he can actually win races.
Seven-race rules maiden who produced his best effort by far when beaten just ¾L (received 12lb) by Dun Faw Good at Cartmel in July (3m1f); has slowly reverted back to type since then and is difficult to consider.
Off the track for 395-days and returns to action at a course which suits at the grand old age of 15; competitive from this mark in the summer of 2017, but the suspicion is that connections won't be taking any chances on quick ground.
18-race rules maiden; don't be fooled by his placed chase efforts in early 2018 (both of which came in very weak races); stablemate of My Wigwam Or Yours.
Had appeared to be a bit of a lost cause until recapturing some form in 2017 (2,3,1 over C&D last year); 4lb above his last winning mark (soft) and returning from a 289-day absence.
