By Definite Article out of a Tap On Wood mare. Half-brother to The Crafty Butcher and Bob Ford. Won both bumper starts and looks interesting on hurdling debut.
Galileo gelding out of a Diktat mare. Half-brother to game sorts Supasundae and Shelford. Market likely to reveal expectation on debut.
Nothing of any note in three dismal maiden hurdle performances since May, beaten over 20L on each occasion. Looks up against it here.
Daylami gelding out of a Mr Greeley mare half-brother to Zaynar and Pigeon Island. Beaten in a couple of bumpers to date and made to many errors on hurdling debut at Roscommon last month. Hard to fancy.
Heliostatic gelding out of a Nononito mare. Half-brother to Mr Gallivanter. Well held on disappointing bumper start at Ballinrobe when last seen in April. Worth a market check though give form of yard.
Has hit the frame in each of his last three hurdle starts including finishing third of 12 here on Tuesday over this trip. Worth a market check.
70-rated handicapper on the Flat for trainer Dermot Weld and looks a long-term prospect for new connections following the gelding running out through the wings of a hurdle at Wexford recently.
Stowaway gelding out of an Old Vic mare. Half-brother to Illwalktheline and one of five in the race for leading owner. Disappointed on debut in a Killarney maiden hurdle over 2m1f last month. Needs to improve significantly here.
Elusive Pimpernel gelding out of a Vinnie Roe mare. Yard are without a winner from seven bumper starts this year. Will possibly improve on hurdling introduction here.
Flemensfirth gelding dam was a fair staying hurdles winner, half-sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser Across The Bay. Well beaten on both hurdle starts to date. Looks to be a future prospect.
Tailed off on debut over hurdles at Cork before another 20L defeat in a Punchestown bumper when last seen in April. May find this a tough assignment.
Filly by Arcadio out of a Eurobus mare. Half-sister to winners The Game Changer and Flying Angel. Watching brief on hurdling bow.

Balliniska Band (4/7), Randalls Ur Poet (5/2), Panther Soul (5/2), Star Maker (7/1), City Hall (10/1), Petit Tartare (16/1), Killacolla (20/1), Thatbeatsbanagher (25/1), Wolfofallstreets (25/1), Shamad (33/1), Sideline Cut (50/1), Sir Pimpernel (80/1), Kilcolman Dj (100/1), Low Web (100/1)
The Seamus Fahey-trained RANDALL UR POET can get off the mark over hurdles at the 12th time of asking in the opener in what appears to be a weak looking contest. Star Maker from the Gordon Elliott yard needs to improve on a number of below par efforts last term and on seasonal debut at Tramore recently but can hit the frame under Davy Russell with newcomers City Hall and the 'straight-to-hurdles' Panther Soul the biggest dangers.
- Randalls Ur Poet
- Panther Soul
- City Hall
