On a long losing run but given some slack by the handicapper. Solid third at Wolverhampton would put him in this but has generally been suited by a quicker surface on turf.
Remains 7lb higher than last of two wins from 13 starts. Kept on at Newmarket and handles conditions well but still has a bit to find.
Gained an overdue third career success at Haydock three starts back and not disgraced at Epsom last time. However questions to answer on a slower surface.
Very well handicapped on old form while remaining on a long losing run. Bounced back to form last time on just his third start for a new trainer and possibilities if building on that.
Disappointing since winning off this mark both in two runs for previous trainer Chris Wall and on her recent stable debut. May come on for that run but a bit to prove at present.
Hasn't really built on heavy ground debut success but looked to find the mile too sharp at Thirsk. Open to improvement now upped in trip with give in the ground and one of the more likely types.
Yet to impress in two runs both for Simon Crisford and his new stable. Gets a welcome drop in grade but needs to improve for lesser trip.
Southwell winner in January and returned from a break with a decent enough run at Carlisle. Seemed to handle cut there but questionable whether this step up in distance will help.
Made his breakthrough on his sixth start before making another slight step forward despite the unsuitable drop in trip. Plenty of stamina in his pedigree and should be suited and a main contender over this distance.
Struggled back in maiden company on quick ground here last time following a promising third over the same C&D on soft ground. Worth considering on this surface and upped in trip.
Posted a career best when breaking through on his sixth start over this C&D. Only up 2lb and respected but this does look tougher.
Nine-race maiden whose last six starts have come at this track. Acts on the going and the step back up in trip is a plus but this requires more.

In a race lacking strength in depth it may pay to take a chance with ALABANZA who is at least moving in the right direction and has shaped as though there's plenty more to come over this trip. She's Pukka is lightly-raced and also may find these conditions ideal while Zealous ran a lot better on his most recent start for his new stable and has to be respected if that wasn't a one off
