Course winner who returned to form with a win at York. Finished runner-up at to a well-handicapped sort at Royal Ascot and had excuses when denied a clear run at Goodwood but no obvious excuse last time when sixth of 18. Has to concede weight here.
Losing run goes way back to 2014 but he had run well in a couple of starts at Chelmsford before disappointing at Newbury in Listed class last time. Needs to prove he can be effective with cut in the ground but not ruled out if he's in the mood.
Yet to win this season but won at this meeting on final start of 2017 and had some smart placed form at the start of the campaign. He's been disappointing on his last couple of starts but better expected here with Moore booked on these terms.
Respectable effort when third at 28/1 on first start since switched from bumpers to Flat racing at Newcastle last time out. Has plenty on his plate here though against these rivals up markedly in class.
