10/3
Dual winner over hurdles but not seen since October 2016. Three years since most recent win so hard to be confident as he starts out for a new stable.

Next Levelp140
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-10| J: Miss Pippa Glanville(3)| T: Jamie Snowden| OR:  98
20/1
Ran with promise once over hurdles when second at Uttoxeter in May 2017. Not reached that level since and pulled up most recently at Stratford. Uttoxeter run would be competitive but otherwise hard to fancy.
3
Horse silk
Troubled Soul13
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-9| J: C Brace(3)| T: F O'Brien| OR:  97
6/1
Over three years since her lone win in a Kilbeggan maiden hurdle. Placed twice over fences and once over hurdles for current yard but only run twice in last 18 months and both times poorly. Hard to fancy now.

Age: 8|  Weight: 11-6| J: Liam Harrison(3)| T: Christian Williams| OR:  94
12/1
Maiden of 25 races starts out for new yard now but shown next to nothing since Winter 2016 with three pulled-ups, a last and a tailed-off in last five runs. Impossible to fancy at present.

Sky of Starsb12
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-4| J: Ben Hicks(3)| T: F Brennan| OR:  92
25/1
Dual winner for Olly Murphy has run well in a couple of occasions in five starts for this yard although less so the last twice. Must bounce back now but youth on his side so no reason he can't.

Big Pictureb20
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-0| J: Rex Dingle(3)| T: J Farrelly| OR:  88
11/4
Impressive winner at Market Rasen (2m4½f) in June was slightly disappointing at Uttoxeter (2m7½f) next with a 12lb hike and ran poorly here latest over 2m7f. Drop back to this trip may help so big player today in a weak contest.
7
Horse silk
Kilcaragh Boyh9
Age: 9|  Weight: 10-2| J: Bryan Carver(5)| T: M Sheppard| OR:  76
9/1
Winner of one of 33 starts ran best race for current yard here latest when fourth over 2m7f. Far from consistent and handicap mark unchanged so more an each-way hope.
8
Horse silk
Gaelic Flow20
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-0| J: Millie Wonnacott(3)| T: C J Down| OR:  72
4/1
Ran three fair races over 2m6f at Stratford this summer and not disgraced here latest over 2m7f when fifth of 15. More needed but not out of this off a feather weight with this trip potentially ideal.
9
Horse silk
Lamh Ar Lamhh,t7
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-0| J: Tom Buckley(3)| T: N J Hawke| OR:  73
25/1
Made the frame for the first time at the 15th time of asking latest when a remote but staying on third at Stratford over 2m2½f. Step up in trip should suit so not ruled out although 2lb out of the handicap.
10
Horse silk
Thefriendlygremlin120
Age: 10|  Weight: 10-0| J: Graham Carson(3)| T: Tracey Leeson| OR:  58| D
100/1
Only completed in three of his eight starts for current connections and over three years since his lone career success. Tailed-off again latest so easy to pass over.

Forecasts

Big Picture (11/4), Todd (10/3), Gaelic Flow (4/1), Troubled Soul (6/1), Kilcaragh Boy (9/1), Robbina (12/1), Next Level (20/1), Lamh Ar Lamh (25/1), Sky of Stars (25/1), Thefriendlygremlin (100/1)

Verdict

BIG PICTURE hasn't followed up his Market Rasen success with any real distinction but that form is easily the stand out in this very ordinary contest so he gets the vote in the hope that a return to this trip will make the difference. Gaelic Flow is considered despite being out of the handicap having been in decent nick this summer while Lamh Ar Lamh is another with potential particularly now upped in trip.
  1. Big Picture
  2. Gaelic Flow
  3. Lamh Ar Lamh
