Big prices last four starts and recent form has taken a major turn for the worse. Makes little appeal at present.

Won 3m maiden hurdle at Wexford in June 2017 but has generally disappointed in a couple of seasonal starts at Galway and Sligo last month. Vast improvement needed to figure.

Won a Limerick handicap hurdle beating 11 rivals when eased home to win by 20L in April over 2m5f, duly raised 16lb and unable to sustain a challenge at Killarney a month later on good ground. Off since and point to prove for now.

Good effort in finishing fourth over an extended 2m at Clonmel on seasonal debut in May before landing a Sligo 2m handicap hurdle off a 6lb lower mark last month. One for the shortlist in this company.

Verdict

The cheekpieces worked the oracle for five-race maiden hurdler BREX DRAGO to get off the mark at the sixth time of asking for connections when landing a Kilbeggan handicap on Friday. The clearly improving six-year-old can follow that win up here taking the scalps of Noel Meade's, Castlehulme, exciting Iffraaj gelding, Arctic Light and Emmet McNamara's Internal Transfer.
