Type that his new yard do well with and they may be getting to grips with him now following decent effort in a Market Rasen selling hurdle last month. Enters calculations.
Just 1-16 over timber, scoring over 2m on soft ground at Uttoxeter in April 2017 when rated 84. Not a lot of positives to be taken from three Flat runs recently before near 20L hurdles defeat at Sligo last month.
Now 10-years-old, started 2017 with a win at Exeter over 2m5½f, taking advantage of 80 rating. Most of subsequent efforts were well short of that however and returns from 313 days off for this. Market to reveal more.
Hasn't built on a promising start in this sphere at Wetherby in October last year for Nigel Twiston-Davies. First outing for new trainer comes in this grade and not one to get carried away with, seemingly.
Five-time Flat winner on a sound surface rated in the mid-50s, beaten 23L last month in a C&D maiden hurdle on first start over jumps.
Six-time Flat winner has shown a fair level of form in four starts over hurdles, including in first-time cheekpieces over 2m5½f here in July. Failed to justify favouritism at Worcester since (no headgear). Blinkers tried this time, may do better.
Five-time winner on the Flat who stays well. Belated start to his hurdling career, but this is not the strongest of races and he could be a threat if taking to jumping.

Forecasts
Cotton Club (4/5), Mizen Master (7/4), Atlantic Grey (11/4), Miskin (8/1), Cool Macavity (8/1), Mash Potato (14/1), Avocadeau (40/1), Mount Vesuvius (50/1)
One to tread carefully in but COOL MACAVITY finished third in this grade last time at Market Rasen and perhaps could still be capable of more for his new connections, give the yard's track record with such types. Cotton Club ran well here in July and, having flopped since at Worcester when backed, might bounce back with new headgear applied. Mizen Master was disappointing in a better race at Stratford on Saturday but needs respecting in this contest while Miskin, a multiple winner on the Flat, wouldn't need to be a star jumper to have an impact on this belated attempt at a new code.
- Cool Macavity
- Cotton Club
- Miskin
