Three runs in maiden/novice company and has been gelded since his last outing in March. Has shown promise, but faces a stiff task off top weight on handicap debut over longest trip he has tackled.

Bath maiden winner in June, but may have found cut in the ground against him at Ffos Las last time. Make his handicap/AW debut and warrants plenty of respect with leading jockey on board.

Won a Lingfield novice contest in March, but subsequent AW/turf efforts have not been so good. Returns from a break with questions to answer.

Beverley winner last month after which he went up 6lb to this mark and was well beaten at Goodwood. Hopes look to depend on the application of blinkers for the first time.

Well beaten last time, but had previously landed a handicap at Lingfield. Not without a chance if bouncing back to that earlier form.

Guild (11/8), Night Story (11/4), Dagueneau (4/1), Neverbeen To Paris (10/1), Dalileo (10/1), Velvet Vision (20/1)

Verdict

Dalileo has plenty to do off top weight and Dagueneau will need the first-time blinkers to have a positive effect. Neverbeen To Paris has prospects on his victory in a Lingfield handicap, but this may go to Bath maiden winner GUILD, who is making his handicap debut under a top-class jockey. Night Story also merits consideration.

  3. Dalileo
