C&D winner who won a Listed race at Chester two starts back. Clearly didn't give his running at Ripon last time and has place claims if he can return to something like his very best. Versatile with regards to ground.
Dual Group 1 winner back in 2016 and returned to form after some poor efforts this year with a Listed win at Newmarket last time. If he builds on that and gets back to anything like his best, he will be hard to beat for a yard who are in good form.
Won back-to-back races earlier in the campaign and only narrowly denied in the big sprint handicap at Goodwood last time out. Just gives the impression he would be seen at his very best over either the minimum trip of 5½f and may want fast ground.
More prolific on AW in recent times but a very useful horse on turf back in his day (placed in the July Cup). Very best efforts have come on fast ground though and he needs to improve on his recent couple of runs at Chelmsford to play a part.
Winner of his second start and returned to form with a fine effort in a valuable handicap at Newmarket in July. Well below form back at that course last time out but less exposed than many in here and may be capable of better still.
LIMATO returned to form with a much better effort at Newmarket last time out and the two-time Group 1 winner sets the standard here and will be hard to beat if he can build on that effort. Stormbringer rates as the main danger in receipt of weight to many of his rivals while Kimberella is a course and distance winner capable of making his presence felt at this level.
