Decent summer chaser who struggled toward the end of last season but ran well recently when third at Kilbeggan behind Draycott Place. Enters calculations here with yard having a good record in handicap chases at this meeting.
Form had gone into decline before bouncing back at Fairyhouse at the end of the year. Well held when last seen at Leopardstown in February and may need this return here.
C&D winner of the novice chase at this festival two years ago. Has won here again since but not seen for over 12-months. Market to be informative.
Course winner that has also won over this trip. Yard have a solid record with their handicap chasers at this festival and worth a check in the market.
Winner on chasing debut in a weak Killarney event last term the gelding looks to be getting back in to the swing of things in a recent start recently and holds each way claims in this grade.
One from 11 starts for the experienced chaser who is 5lb lower than his career high mark. Worth a market check from a yard who do well with their handicap chasers at this meeting.
Has shown relatively little of late including a trio of double figure defeats over the larger obstacles since June and has plenty to prove at present.
Gallant winner of this contest 12-months ago off a 14lb higher mark completing a hat-trick of wins in the race. Well held since but no surprise to see the veteran go well again as he goes for an unprecedented fourth win.
Plenty to like about a couple of gallant performances at Tipperary and at the Galway festival last month. Can't be completely ruled out.
Winner of two of her last four starts over the larger obstacles including a win in a Tramore 2m6f chase last month. Likable type and should be in the mix.
Distance winner of a Kilbeggan beginners chase in May. Has struggled a little in novice and handicap company since and has plenty to prove at present.
Distance winner who won a handicap hurdle on his sole visit here at this meeting two years ago. Got off the mark over fences at the seventh time of asking at Tramore last month. Entitled to make the shortlist.
Ran the gallant Act In Time to ½L on first start for new yard at Killarney last month over 2m1f on good ground. Needs to improve on that run here.
Distance winner of a Downpatrick handicap chase last month off a 4lb higher mark beating Gentleman Duke by the shortest of margins. Leading player at the bottom of the handicap.

Interesting jockey booking for the Henry De Bromhead-trained CONRAD HASTINGS who can land the third chase of his career in this competitive handicap for a yard who have a good record at this festival with their handicap chasers. The seven-year-old will face stiff opposition from the Gordon Elliott-trained Mill Quest who remains in good form over the larger obstacles while particular attention should be paid to the John Patrick Ryan pair Draycott Place, who was up against it last month, and the evergreen Kylecrue who goes for an unprecedented fourth win in the race.
- Conrad Hastings
- Kylecrue
- Mill Quest
