C&D winner in May off a 2lb lower mark getting the race in the stewards room following interference in the closing stages with Bakers Street. Largely well held since but place claims exist in this company.
Distance winner of a Limerick handicap chase in July off a 7lb lower mark. Possibly lost her race at Killarney recently when missing the start and subsequently being rushed up to lead by the third fence. Better expected here.
Distance winner who has been badly out of sorts recently over hurdles. Well held - beaten over 20L each time - in a couple of chase starts to date. Very little to be positive about.
Slowly getting the hang of things and his last three efforts have been much improved since July. Looks a progressive type and shortlisted here.
Veteran who was short-headed in a Tramore handicap chase over 2m6f last month before a dismal run at Downpatrick. Not getting any younger but has the ability to worry a few here.
Well held since losing a a handicap chase over C&D here to Dark Outsider in the stewards room in May. Opposable on recent form.
Dual hurdles winner but placed just twice in 14 starts over fences. Form doesn't warrant supporting here.
18-race maiden over the larger obstacles and has been fairly well beaten in three starts since running Not For You to a 1¾L defeat at Killarney in June.
Forecasts
Das Mooser (3/1), Just A Normal Day (7/2), Dark Outsider (5/1), Bakers Street (6/1), Ballyfinboy (7/1), Invincible Don (8/1), Athloman Cottage (9/1), Burning Issues (20/1)
If JUST A NORMAL DAY takes to the track he could take some stopping here with many conditions in his favour in this contest. The eight-year-old's last three efforts have been much improved including last month when finishing a little over 4L behind the 109-rated Theatre Dreams at Killarney. Das Mooser and Ballyfinboy can battle for the minor honours while it would be no surprise to see either of Dark Outsider and Bakers Street find their form back on this track.
- Just A Normal Day
- Ballyfinboy
- Dark Outsider
