Generally consistent off revised mark since C&D win in May. Concern though remains that he was withdrawn after getting worked up in the stalls at Ripon and missed the break at Chester last time.
Lightly-raced and progressive after winning two of his last three. Can be slowly away so did very well to get up at Doncaster over this trip. Up 6lb but plenty more to come and looks a leading contender.
Nine-race maiden formerly trained by Kevin Prendergast in Ireland. Ran up to a similar level in two starts for new yard and although needs to reverse form with Harrogate any significant rain would be in his favour.
First-time blinkers really brought him back to his best when posting a second career win last time on the AW. Showed great early speed and providing they have the same effect he could be hard to catch.
Got an uncontested lead so was a bit disappointing at Chester last time. Has looked better suited by six furlongs so far but his maiden win came on heavy so any significant rain would be a plus.
Has won two of his last three with the defeat coming on much quicker ground. Just 2lb higher than latest win and any rain would be significant. Looks a leading player.
Moderate form in handicaps since sole novice win and looks in the grip of the assessor at present. Improvement required.
One win from 12 starts so far and has had some relief from the handicapper to be just 1lb higher than that successful mark, however needs to pick up from two poor runs.
Remains 3lb higher than last winning mark but is slipping back after being held off higher. A bit better when fourth at Musselburgh but more required.
Made a good start for current stable with a win and running to a similar level on next two starts. However needs to bounce back from disappointing Chester run and impression he may be better over a furlong further.
Best run of three novice starts came over this trip at Wolverhampton. However balance of form suggests this is a tough start in handicap company.
Has relished quicker ground than this recently and could have gone close to following up a Beverley win over the same C&D with a clearer passage. Tougher ask on this easier surface, upped in grade and from 4lb out of the handicap.

Harrogate (5/2), Airglow (6/1), Hawaam (6/1), Our Little Pony (7/1), Makanah (9/1), Machree (9/1), Rumshak (9/1), Feebs (12/1), Consequences (12/1), Dandy's Beano (20/1), Qaaraat (20/1), Bakht Khan (33/1), Areen Faisal (33/1)
RUMSHAK bounced back to form when making all at Newcastle and built up an impressive early lead. He won with plenty in hand and off just 4lb higher and with an easier surface back on turf suiting, he should prove very hard to peg back. Harrogate can be involved but needs to break better and while the same could be said of Makanah, his slow starts haven't been a barrier to success and there's likely to be plenty more to come. Airglow is in very good form and any rain would greatly help his chances.
- Rumshak
- Makanah
- Airglow
