Ran in some smart races last season when winning on debut before two placed efforts. No disgrace with a good second over further in another warm AW contest and looks one to keep on the right side of.
Has gone well here on all three visits to this track and was a very good second over the C&D in the Summer Cup. Tough ask at York on last start and remains a horse who can progress into a smart handicapper.
Ex-French maiden, made a fine start for new yard when failing by just a nose at Leicester before a very disappointing favourite over this C&D. Not one to give up on just yet but this is tougher still.
Rapidly improving winning three of his last four and has clearly benefited from the wind surgery at the start of the season. Should be plenty more to come but this is a step up in grade and raised another 4lb.
Two good runs from just four career starts have come at this track and hit the line in his win as though a step up to this trip should suit. Tough ask on handicap debut but open to plenty of improvement.
Made his handicap debut over 1m2f and shaped as though he needs further rather than this drop in trip. His maiden success at Leicester is smart but more required in this company on the balance of form.

Forecasts
Blue Mist (10/11), Borodin (7/2), Maverick Officer (7/2), Knighted (4/1), Juthoor (6/1), Data Protection (8/1), Accessor (10/1), Autretot (20/1)
Some exciting prospects on show in what could turn out to be a smart contest with the future in mind. Data Protection is worth a step up in class from his latest dead-heat win while in contrast Borodin will appreciate the drop in grade and has shown a liking for this track. Blue Mist boasts very strong form from his four starts and any rain would be a significant bonus, however narrow preference is for MAVERICK OFFICER who is clearly well-regarded. He has impressive turn of foot off a strongly run mile and there looks to be plenty of pace in opposition.
