Kapgarde gelding out of a Le Glorieux. Cost €66,000 as a three-year-old and a half-brother to Big Buck's. Fifth of 14 in bumper at Cork (2m3f, good to soft) on debut 32 days ago when odds-on and should make progress now.
City Honours gelding who makes limited appeal on pedigree and yard have poor record in bumpers. Well beaten here in one start more than a year ago. Watching brief now.
Had made the frame twice in bumpers prior to finishing fourth last month at Galway in decent event. Not to be ruled out in this field.
Craigsteel gelding is a brother to fairly useful hurdler Graineyhill and half-brother to bumper winner Incas Article. Represents in-form Elliott yard and has Jamie Codd on board. Of clear interest.
Sageburg gelding. Half-brother to 1m3f Flat winner Pauloca. Worth check in betting on debut for Philip Fenton.
Fairly Ransom gelding. Dam modest maiden hurdler (stayed 3m), looks one of the less likely winners in this line-up.
Has produced some game and consistent performances in three of her five bumper starts without winning. Poor last time at Limerick however and that leaves others more likely now returned from a break, including stablemate Steel Cap.
Point-to-point winner, shaped well in 2m2f Sligo bumper in July but unable to match that form since at Cork and has work to do in this field as a result.
Daughter of Le Cadre Noir out of a Deep Society mare. Half-sister to Lots Of Memories and multiple winner He'llberemembered. Didn't beat much home in a bumper at this track on debut recently.
Presenting filly, shaped better on third start in this sphere at Tramore recently and isn't without a chance if taking to this longer trip now.
By Beneficial out of a Deploy mare related to tenacious types Realt Dubh, More Of That and Eastlake. Sixth of 12 in novice hurdle at Downpatrick over shorter on second start in June. Back to bumpers now and has to improve.
Ask filly is a half-sister to useful hurdler Buck Magic and modest hurdler Craigdancer, plenty stamina in her pedigree and best watched here unless market says otherwise.

Buck's Billionaire (11/8), Russian Soldier (7/2), Steel Cap (5/1), Patriciadplasterer (7/1), Breffniboy (10/1), Rock On Bennie (20/1), Old Head (25/1), Cornakill Rose (25/1), Pat Coyne (33/1), Wonderful Woman (33/1), Cascade D'amour (50/1), Remember Le Jumeau (66/1), Neados Choice (100/1)
Buck's Billionaire, a half-brother to the mighty Big Buck's, was beaten at odds-on on debut last month at Cork. He'll have learned plenty for that run and could improve nicely. The price is likely to be cramped again though and there is a lot to like about STEEL CAP on paper, despite the hood he wears on debut. Jamie Codd's mount earns the nod. His stablemate Cornakill Rose isn't discounted, with the benefit of experience while Russian Soldier and Patriciadplasterer are others that could have designs on the prize.
- Steel Cap
- Buck's Billionaire
