A race which lacks any degree of strength in depth, with Jamie Osborne and the Melbourne 10 doubly represented with stable newcomers Pulsating and KODY RIDGE. The selection has proved his ability in 7f claimers this summer, winning for Roger Fell at Catterick in July, and showing up well for a long way before going under to Withernsea at Beverley latest. At a cost of £7,000 (from Brian Ellison), he appears to have been bought with this race specifically in mind. Others to consider with viable winners very thin on the ground include Thomas O'Malley and Cyrus Dallin.
