Kodiac half-brother to Group 2 winner Royal Youmzain, and knew his job when winning an 11-runner maiden at Carlisle by 4 lengths from Arabic Channel last month. Sure to improve, and respected despite conceding weight all round.
Similar form on all three starts, winning a 5f novice at Carlisle in June by a neck from Lorton. This track should suit better than Chester, where he was a keeping-on third at this trip last time.
Equiano colt who improved from his debut when winning a 7f minor event at Wolverhampton last time by 2¾L from Sirius Slew. Should have more to offer, and yard does very well here.
Better effort to date when 5L sixth of 10 to Converter in maiden at Nottingham last time. Still looked to be learning there, though, and further progress on the cards, albeit needed here.
Charm Spirit half-brother to smart 2-y-o 5f-6f winner Temple Meadsand useful 2-y-o 6f winner Sneak Preview. Cost 130,000 gns as a yearling, and one to note if strong in the betting.
Bumped into subsequent Gimcrack runner-up Legends of War debut at Yarmouth in May, and stiff task in Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot following month. Still unexposed, and likely to play a big role down in grade.
€46,000 purchase at the Goresbridge breeze-ups in May, but has looked in need of the experience when down the field at York and Thirsk, and is one for handicaps after another run.
Out of a half-sister to G3 Princess Margaret Stakes winner Fair Eva. Looked green when second to Showout on debut at Hamilton, and while that's not easy form to assess, yard's runners often come on markedly from debut. Not ruled out.
210,000 gns yearling. No Nay Never half-brother to six winners including very useful miler Birdman. Caught the eye amidst inexperience at Yarmouth on debut, and open to significant progress now. Shortlist material.
Bred to have a bit of speed about him, and shaped with some promise when seventh of 10 on racecourse bow at Nottingham. Will improve, but this looks a tough ask.
By Zoffany out of a half-sister to smart 1m/1m1f winner Mutahadee, herself out of unraced half-sister to French Group 1 winners Muncie and Mersey. Stablemate of Stakeholder, who appears yard's main hope on riding arrangements.
Invincible Spirit half-brother to three useful sprinters. Similar form when mid-field in novices at Newbury in June/July, and probably open to improvement, but does need to step up on bare form of those runs.
Forecasts
Stakeholder (9/4), Hello Youmzain (3/1), San Donato (9/2), Wise Counsel (8/1), Wild Edric (17/2), Serengeti Song (10/1), Baby Steps (14/1), Punjab Mail (25/1), Stylish Motion (50/1), Griggy (100/1), Secret Picnic (100/1), Straitouttacompton (100/1)
SAN DONATO faced a stiff task in the Chesham last time having met the Gimcrack runnerup on debut, and will appreciate the return to 6f, so can get back on track in what looks a warm novice. Stakeholder didn't do himself full justice on debut at Yarmouth, and looks sure to improve significantly now, rating the main danger, ahead of the penalised pair Hello Youmzain and Baby Steps.
