Motueka^p,t³⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 11-5| J: Fergus Gregory⁽⁵⁾| T: O Murphy| OR: 114

15/8

Broke his maiden on debut for this yard in a 2m6f maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter (good). Failed to follow-up at Perth next time in a four-runner contest. Riders claim helps here and should be bang there.

Form: 254P-12

Play The Ace^p,t⁴¹

Age: 9| Weight: 11-5| J: James Bowen| T: P & M Bowen| OR: 127| D

5/2

Good servant who has won eight times over fences in the past. Has the ability to run well here and should be right in the mix once more.

Form: P-6P412

Rockportian⁵⁰²

Age: 8| Weight: 10-12| J: Harry Bannister| T: W Greatrex| OR: 118| D

11/8

Won an Irish point in good style and also won a bumper at Uttoxeter. Not quite so good over hurdles and has been off the track for a long time so clearly had issues. Best of his form would put him right in the picture if fit and ready.

Form: 116348/

Sunset Skye^t1¹³⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 10-5| J: J J Burke| T: Mrs L Hill

66/1

Big prices and failed to complete in any of her three starts over hurdles so far. Looks limited and needs switch to new yard to bring about some improvement.

Form: 8UPP-

Forecasts

Rockportian (11/8), Motueka (15/8), Play The Ace (5/2), Sunset Skye (66/1)

Rockportian will be a big player in this if he is fit and ready to go off such a long absence. The chances are this might be a good opportunity for MOTUEKA to add to his victory at Uttoxeter.
