Not disgraced in two seasonal starts for new connections but there appears to be better handicapped types lurking in this contest.
Distance winner who was a beaten favourite last month at the Curragh. Beaten no more than a head on his last three starts the Intense Focus gelding deserves a change of fortune here.
Form of the spring in the early part of the season seems to have evaporated following a number of heavy defeats since including last time out at the Galway festival.
Ran well to finish third of 18 beaten 3¾L at the Galway festival last month but has subsequently suffered four heavy defeats since. May find a couple too good here.
Well held when finishing down the field in three career maiden starts two of those coming when last seen in June. Worth a market check on handicap debut.
Beaten favourite on seasonal debut back in July when last of nine in a Tipperary 1m1f handicap. Plenty to prove for leading connections in first-time cheekpieces.
Distance winner of a Galway handicap a liitle short of 12-months ago off a 4lb lower mark. Beaten since but produced a couple of promising runs last month to put him in the mix here.
Beaten 7L in first time cheekpieces at Fairyhouse in July before finishing fourth of 10 beaten 8L at Tramore last month. Losing run looks set to continue here.
15-race maiden including five Flat race defeats when unplaced on turf. However solid hurdle form and first-time blinkers puts him on the shortlist in this contest.
Five-race maiden who appears to be improving of late. Not ruled out but may have to settle for the minor honours here.
First time blinkers less likely to bring about the required amount of progression needed to land a blow here for a filly not seen since disappointing on her third career start in October.
Yet to win in 11 starts and held over 1m4f at Gowran Park on good to firm in May. Risky proposition returning from a break.
Vocalised filly, sister to 1m1f winner Natalie Naty and half-sister to useful winner up to 7½f Intense Style. Well held and never a factor in three dismal career starts to date.
Not disgraced in a number of starts at double figure prices since June. Can go well but liable to find a couple stronger.
