Ruth Carr holds a strong hand numerically with each of her three runners having claims of sorts, although the recent Thirsk winner Racquet would appear to be the stable number one based on jockey bookings alone. The thoroughly likeable Windforpower hasn't been at his sharpest of late, but promises to be revitalised for the switch back to 5f at his beloved Newcastle, and he's likely to be spotted making giant strides late on alongside both Skyva and BRENDAN. The selection remains a maiden after 19 starts, but he's a fine animal in the flesh and deserves to break his maiden tag after a narrow (fast-finishing) defeat over C&D on Friday Evening.
