Improving with racing since joining this yard and impressed when winning by 9L over an extended 2m4f at Market Rasen (good) last time out. One to note off a 9lb higher mark.
Placed over hurdles earlier this year and had wind surgery prior to finishing fourth over an extended 2m2f on good-to-soft going here in July. Has won over this trip in the past.
Completed a hurdling double when winning by 1L at Ffos Las (2m4f, good) in May. Finished a close fourth over the same trip at Worcester (good) subsequently. Returning from a break and regular amateur jockey takes the ride once more.
Put a disappointing effort behind him when finishing 6L second of four at Worcester (2m4f, good) two months ago. Absent since and worth a check in the market.
Dual winner in 2017 and has run well in defeat in three starts this year. Beaten 8L at Market Rasen (2m5f, good) in May and is returning from a break.
Had wind surgery following a victory at Towcester (2m3f, good) in May. Held in two subsequent starts and remains on a mark 3lb higher than for his latest success.
Won two of his last three starts including over an extended 2m2f on good ground last time out. Top jockey in the saddle and is a leading contender upped in trip on handicap debut.
Dual winner on good ground in the spring but disappointing over an extended 3m2f at Stratford (good) last time out. Worth a check in the market following a break.
Winner of three races in the spring but well held the last twice. Beaten 16L over C&D last month and others hold stronger claims.
Came home 7L clear of his rivals when winning a handicap chase over 2m5f on good ground here in June. Races off a 3lb higher mark on his return to hurdling.
Forecasts
Serosevsky (11/4), Equus Amadeus (4/1), Wolfcatcher (9/2), High Secret (6/1), Litterale Ci (7/1), Ballinure (10/1), Sleep Easy (14/1), Voodoo Doll (20/1), Solatentif (20/1), Kentford Heiress (25/1)
Trainer Harry Fry took this contest last year and he and jockey Noel Fehily can take the 2018 renewal with handicap debutant SEROSEVSKY. The step up in trip should suit this point-to-point winner and he can record a third Rules success at the chief expense of top weight and last time out winner High Secret. Litterale Ci, a stablemate of the selection can finish third on her return from a break.
