Son of Acclamation who cost 100,000 gns and built on a promising debut with a smart win at Newmarket. Won with plenty in hand there despite greenness and looks a promising colt who sets a clear standard.
Half-brother to stable's Bertie Blu Boy. Trainer's first juvenile runner of the season and not noted for early winners. Looks best watched.
Son of Born To Sea and bred to need much further in time. Stable yet to have a winner this campaign and hard to fancy on debut.
Dick Turpin gelding who has shown little at long odds in two starts to date. Bred to need further and very hard to make a case for.
Son of Havana Gold who cost 190,000 gns as a yearling. Trainer's runners improve for their debuts and will need further in time but one of the more likely types.
Dandy Man gelding who is a half-brother to five individual winners. Improved from debut when dropped to this trip on his second start but needs a fair deal of progress again.
Like stablemate Cormier is a son of Born To Sea but has had one start so far when well beaten over one furlong further here. Hard to make a case for.
Raced both starts so far over 5f at Beverley and built on a promising debut when keeping on for a good second. Looked in need of this extra furlong and looks a contender.

There was a lot to like about the way GARRUS won on his second start and with the performance being backed up by a fast time he looks very hard to beat. Should he fail to fire then Under Curfew looks a clear second pick off the back of two solid races and this extra test of stamina should suit. Mawakib is by far the most interesting debutante and should be noted in the betting.
